European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 25 April 2012, Alain Guillou, the HR Director of ship building group DCNS announced the recruitment of 700 people in 2012. The positions are mainly engineers and managers.
According to Guillou the industry has a five year visibility in its order book, and as a result it was a lot less exposed to short term fluctuations on the job market.
DCNS employs 12,000 employees worldwide.
