Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
In July 2012, a wiring harness manufacturer Kabel-Technik Polska announced plans to create 350 jobs by 2013. 150 jobs are being created in the unit in the Białogard Technology Incubator located in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone (the unit was opened in June 2012). The company also plans to create the second unit in Białogard and create a further 200 positions by the end of 2013.
Kabel-Technik-Polska has been operating in Poland since 1996 and has a plant in Czaplinek (Wielkopolskie Province), where it employs over 1,200 people.
