On 5 April 2012, Danish producer of chocolate and sugar confectionery Toms announced plans to employ 100 people at the packaging facility in Leszno, which will be operational in July 2012. The company revealed that additional 100-120 seasonal workers will be hired between May and November.
This packing facility will be a separate specialized unit in the whole production process - the products from Denmark will be manually packed in Leszno and returned to Danish warehouses and shops.
Toms was founded in 1924 in Denmark. Nowadays the company employs 1,000 people in Denmark and Sweden.
