Description
Luxury clothing maker Aquascutum has announced that it is to cut 115 jobs as it closes its factory in Corby. The company appointed administrators FRP Advisory who said that the job cuts were needed to secure the jobs of the remaining 135 employees. However, the GMB trade union is to seek legal advice after claiming Aquascutum violated statute law by not consulting on the redundancies.
No timeline has been given for the restructuring.
