Plastic producer Sotira 49 has announced the closure of its plant of Pouancé, France, which currently employs 214 people. The plant will be closed by the end of 2012. First wave of dismissals is planned in June.
This decision was taken after Faurecia, the French specialist in engineering and production of automotive solutions, renounced to take over the company. The employee's representatives of Sotira 49 have met local government leaders to look for solutions leading to the opening of a new plant.
