Description

Nestlé subsidiary meat processor Herta is undergoing restructuring as a result of which two out of three German plants (Berlin and Neuenkirchen) will be sold to German company Sprehe. The Herta plant at Langenbochum/Herne will be restructured. 250 to 300 posts shall be shed by the end of the year. Within the framework of restructuring, 110 dismissals of standard workers plus the termination of 40 fixed term contracts and 60 to 100 temporary agency worker contracts are foreseen.
