European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Swiss chemical company Roche will cut 150 posts out of 7547 at the Mannheim plant. The workforce reduction plans include 70 positions in IT services and 80 positions in the so-called 'agency unit', which is in charge of supervising sales in foreign countries. The latter will be delocated to eastern and southern European member states.
