Description

Major Bavarian plant bakery Müller-Brot filed for insolvency in January when irregularities were detected. Negotiations to sell the bakery to new owners are still ongoing. The insolvency put a total of 1,250 jobs at risk. In early April about 450 jobs were saved when the daughter company of the former owner acquired the Müller store chain. The bakery plants are still for sale.
