Liebherr MCCtec, a leading manufacturer of construction machinery, announced to create 200 jobs at its site in Rostock, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. 30 jobs will be created in 2012, another 170 shall follow within the next years. The plans imply a shifting of operations from Austria to Rostock to meet orders from companies located at the sea ports of the Baltic Sea, namely from Rostock. No jobs shall be shed in Austria.
