European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In response to its strong sales growth, VW subsidiary Audi has increased the number of employees that it plans to recruit from 1,200 (December 2011) to 2,000 (April 2012) Additionally, 700 temporary agency workers will be taken on permanently. The new positions will be created in manufacturing and technical development.
