Description
Finnish company Fiskars has announced redundancies of up to 95 employees from its garden tool manufacturing plant in Billnäs (town of Raseborg). The company has started negotiations with employee representatives on the proposed cuts.
Fiskars cites competitiveness and the need to increase Billnäs plant's effectiveness as the reason for the proposed cuts. It also states that it wants to explore opportunities for lay-offs during the negotiations.
