The Irish manufacturer of insulators Xtratherm has decided to invest in Belgium and create about 100 new jobs in Feluy.
The agency for the economic development in Wallonia encouraged the company to invest in Belgium. For that, 25 millions euro were raised from regional and European sources to give the company the opportunity to invest in Belgium. Other countries were considered by the firm for its new plant. The new unit of 100.000m² will be based in Feluy and should be operational by 2013.
