Description

Teuco Guzzini, Italian leaders in the production of hydro-massages bathtubs and showers, is to cut 152 jobs at its plant located in Macerata.

The plant employs 350 workers.

According to the company, the job-cuts are mainly due to the fall in profits. In the last years, the company had already asked for the Wage Guarantee Fund schemes and "solidarity agreements" in order to avoid job losses.

The trade unions have requested to meet the company's representatives in order to find alternative solutions to the job-cuts.
