Description
The Brasilian Embraco Company, specialized in the manufacturing of compressors for the refrigerator industry, expands its business in Slovakia and is to create 300 new jobs in Spisska Nova Ves. In a first step 150 employees will be hired in April-May 2012. Another 150 will be hired until the end of 2012. An additional 160 jobs are expected to be created at the subcontractors.
The expansion is attributed to the launch of a new generation of home refrigerator compressors. The company invests about €13.5 million in the project, of which €6.5 million subsidies received from the Slovak government.
