Description

Siemens Wind Power, manufacturer of large windmills, announced on the 7th of February 2012 that up to 270 employees will be made redundant during the following months. 

The redundancies are to be seen as part of a plan to restructure the company after a period of substantial growth. Siemens Wind Power hired up to 1000 employees during all 2011.
