On 22 March 2012, Valeo, manufacturer of automotive components, announced its intention to create 15,000 jobs worldwide by 2015. The company specified that this will include the recruitment of 1,000 engineers per year.
The company is taking this action in order to meet an increase in demand. The automotive market will increase up to 3-4% in 2012, according to Valeo's CEO. In 2011, the company's turnover reached 10.9 billion Euros with a profit of 427 million euros (+17%).
