Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 9 March of 2012, American multinational banking and financial services corporation BNY Mellon announced plans to hire 200 people for its Global Delivery Centre in Wrocław, which will specialize in asset management. The company is to hire mainly accounting graduates and financial analysts.
The center will provide special trainings and workshops for the employed staff. Candidates must have foreign language skills, especially English, to work in the international teams.
Currently, the unit in Wrocław employs 90 people. BNY Mellon operates in 36 countries and employs over 48,700 people.
