On the 10th of February, the French subsidiary of American online sales company Amazon signed an agreement with the employment public service (Pôle Emploi) to recruit about 100 people on permanent employment contracts for its logistic platform of Saran (Loiret).
The CEO of Amazon.fr stresses the company could hire up to 200 employees. The platform currently employs between 700 and 800 employees and could reach employment levels as high as 2,800 by Christmas.
