Description

Foxconn, multinational Taiwanese electronics manufacturer, will dismiss 430 workers in Nitra, a plant that it had previously taken over from Sony. The company announced collective redundancies concerning up to 600 jobs at the local employment office. But according to Foxconn, only 430 people will be dismissed.

Redundancies are attributed to the worsening situation in the global market of LCD TVs.
