European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Slovenian retail chain Mercator created 250 new jobs with the opening of a new shopping centre on December 1, 2011. The new shopping centre Mercator Maribor Tabor in Maribor (Podravska region) contains a Mercator hypermarket and more than 50 other tenant shops.
In addition to the 150 jobs created by the hypermarket, another 200 are created in the tenant shops.
