Description
On February 21, 2012, Great Wall Motor Company (GWM), a Chinese automobile manufacturer, has opened a Bulgarian plant creating 120 jobs. Currently, 120 young people have started working at the company, which will eventually employ almost 2,000 people at full capacity (50,000 cars annually). The management team includes foreign consultants and managers with extensive experience in manufacturing the world's leading automotive brands.
Established in 1976, GWM is the largest private car manufacturer and exporter in China. The production output in the Bulgarian plant is meant for the European market.
The plant is located in the village Bahovitza close to the city Lovech.
