Wolverhampton City Council has announced plans to cut between 100 and 150 jobs in a bid to cut £20m from the 2012-13 budget. The Council aims at achieving the cuts through staff turnover, the elimination of vacant posts and redemployment.
The trade union refused to comment on the cuts and awaits talks with the Council, according to media reports.
