Description

Polish electricity producer and distributor Energa announced 300 to 340 redundancies. The company unveiled details about the implementation of a voluntary redundancy programme introduced in January 2012 in Pomerania (northern Poland). The redundant workers will receive a severance pay worth up to 150,000 PLN.

Energa Group has implemented a restructuring programme aiming at increasing financial and organizational effectiveness. Nearly 900 people entered to the voluntary dismissal programme in 2011.

Energa Group employs over 11,500 people across Poland.
