Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 13 February 2012, Polish producer of motorcycles, agricultural machinery and tractors Pronar announced plans to hire 600 people. Initially, Pronar planned to create 200 jobs in this facility in 2012 (see here), but has now increased this number to 600. The company is looking for skilled workers (locksmiths, painters, welders, turners).
The jobs will be created at a new facility, which is currently being launched in Siemiatycze in the Podlaskie Voivodeship. The factory will produce mainly municipal machineries.
Pronar was founded in 1998. The company has five plants in the Podlaskie Voivodeship.
