Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Telefónica CR, part of Spanish provider of broadband and telecommunication services Telefónica, is to create 150 new jobs at its call centre in Ostrava in 2012. The number of employees will increase by 14 percent, the workforce will reach a total of 1,100 people. It has been announced that the recruitment of new employees will be carried out gradually.
Telefónica CR operates nearly seven million mobile and fixed lines in the Czech Republic. It employs over 6,700 core staff and about 2,000 temporary agency workers.
