Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
TGW Systems Integration, a globally operating supplier of logistics solutions, is to expand its headquarters in Wels, increasing its number of employees by 200 by 2015.
Currently, TGW is looking to hire 70 technicians. As plans for the medium-term until 2015 the company announced to increase the number of employees from currently 850 to 1,050. It is also reported that TGW has troubled finding and recruiting skilled personnel.
The whole group currently employs 1350 workers and is mostly producing logistics solutions for companies from the foods, automotive, pharmaceutical, textiles and postal sectors.
