Description
Foxconn, a Taiwan-headquartered electronics manufacturer, has announced its plan to recruit 1,000 workers for its two Czech sites (Kutná Hora and Pardubice) in 2012. Foxconn employs mostly temporary agency workers and 50 per cent of its staff at those plants is Czech.
Foxconn Technology Group is specialized in outsourcing and produces goods for international companies such as HP, Dell and Apple. Foxconn produces for example the iPhone and iPad, the Amazon Kindle and multiple electronic paddles such as the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Wii.
Foxconn currently employs 7,000 people and is the second largest exporter in the Czech Republic.
