Window manufacturer AC Yule & Son went into administration with the loss of 211 jobs in the UK. The firm announced that it would retain 61 out of currently 272 staff to complete projects and outstanding orders. KPMG has been appointed administrator and will try to find a buyer for parts or all of the business.
AC Yule & Son is a company with a long tradition having been in the window manufacturing business in Scotland and north England since 1946.
