Description
On 30 November, the Commercial Court of Clermont-Ferrand decided the liquidation of the Preciturn's unit of Thiers (137 employees). The plant is specialized in bar turning, and was allowed to pursue its activities by the end of December to find a buyer. As there was no offer, the Court pronounced the liquidation and the employees were dismissed in January. The plant closed on the 30 January.
According the newspaper La Montagne, 44 of the 114 former employees helped by the employment public service Pôle Emploi have found a new job two month after the closure. The Preciturn group is specialized in manufacturing mechanical parts.
