European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Meaux commercial court has decided to liquidate the factories Valaubrac and Amarilis (Averyon) owned by the kitchen and furniture manufacturer Cauval Industries. The factories are set to close in February with the loss of 170 jobs. The liquidation and consequent closure is blamed on the difficulties the factories went through during the economic crises in 2008.
