Description
Cookie maker Bahlsen, a German family business of bakery products, announced plans to enlarge its unit in Skawina (the Kraków Special Economic Zone) and to increase its workforce by 30 employees. The plant, which currently employs 263, is expected to be expanded and be operational in spring 2012.
The company plans to invest almost 21 mln PLN (about 4.6 mln EUR). Bahlsen has been operating in Poland since 1993. Other than in Poland, the German company produces in five other venues in Europe and exports its products to 80 countries worldwide.
