European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Austrian manufacturer of prefabricated houses Elk announced to hire 100 new employees in Schrems (Austria) and Plana (Czech Republic). Jobs will be created in construction, interior fittings and order management.
The ELK Group specializes in off-site manufactured houses, notably timber frame construction. The company sold more than 1.600 houses in 2010. The company employs close to 1350 employees in its factories in Austria, the Czech Republic and Germany.
