Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The family owned construction group Legendre (1100 employees) has announced to recruit 150 employees. The company is recruiting given its engagement is several big projects: The rehabilitation of an office building of 16,500 square meters in Rennes and the construction of 30,000 square meters of offices and a hotel of 92 rooms in Saint-Herblain near Nantes.
The group has just build a new headquarter in Rennes with an investment of 26 million Euros. Its turnover reached 202 million euro in 2010 and it expects an increase to 210 million Euros in 2011.
