European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On November 3rd, the Commercial Court of Orleans decided on the liquidation of Gainair (110 employees), a company which has specialized in the manufacture and installation of ducts.
The plant will close its doors on the 4th of November. On November the 7th, the liquidator met the works council before sending dismissal's letters. It is said that the low order volume is to blame for the closure.
