Description
The French retailer Carrefour opened a new store in Romania on the 18th of October. The store creates 350 new jobs. The new hypermarket is located at Chitila, near Bucharest. This is the hypermarket number eight in Bucharest metropolitan area.
And the group plans to expand further: It announced the opening of two other new stores in the commercial parks BelRom from Botosani (Botosani County, North-East region) and Deva (Hunedoara county, West region) for this year.
In the last year, the French group reported a turnover of 1.1 billion Euros in Romania.
