European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Amazon, the multinational e-commerce company, will create 400 new jobs at the new logistics centre at Castel San Giovanni, in the province of Piacenza. The plant opened in October 2011 and has recently hired around 150 employees. The company will hire around 250 more employees by the end of December 2011.
