European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 16 August 2011, the iron foundry manufacturer Eisengießerei Torgelow announced to cut 160 jobs by the end of September 2011. Affected are temporary agency workers. Job cuts are necessary due to a decline in production. The company employs a total of 750 workers.
