Description
On 12 August 2011, the German car producer Daimler announced to create 1,000 jobs at its site in Wörth where the firm manufactures trucks. Daimler highlighted that the demand for its products was high and therefore Saturday shifts will be added for the rest of 2011.
Already in July 2011, the company had also stated to create another 600 jobs at its site in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim. Job creation will take place in 2011. Background to the job creation scheme is a rising demand for Daimler's vehicles, engines and trasmissions.
