Description
The manufacturer of cast iron cookware, Le Creuset will recruit 200 employees by 2014, after the expansion and renovation of its plant in Fresnoy-le-Grand (Aisne). The workforce will then comprise 800 employees.
Currently, le Creuset is building a new plant on its historic location. It will open in the first semester of 2012. Le Creuset faced serious financial difficulties in the 1980s and was acquired in 1988 by Paul van Zuydam, a British industrialist of South African origin, who is still the sole shareholder of the company. Since then the company is pursuing strong international expansion.
