European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
At the end of July 2011 Auchan has announced 100 job-cuts in its supermarket located at Casamassima, near Bari.
The shop employed 354 people.
According to the company, the job-cuts are due to the drop in sales that occurred in the last months.
