Description
Sielte is to cut 470 jobs out of around 1500.
According to the company the job-cuts are due to the recent drop in profits and to the delays in public investments for the big broadband technologies.
The trade unions reacted to the company's decision by organising several protest actions and asking the government's involvement in order to start new investments in infrastructures for technologies.
Sielte is one of the leading Italian companies in engineering and implementing solutions for telecommunications, technological and energy systems.
