Description
On 21 September 2011, the Central Board for Refugee Centre for Asylum Seekers (COA) announced it will close seven centres, resulting in the loss of 100 jobs. Moreover, 200 of the 500 jobs in the Central Office will be cut. Background is the decreasing number of asylum seekers (partly due to stricter legislation) and cuts in the government budget for the COA.
