Description
The large Nordic bank, Nordea, will cut 2,000 jobs in the Nordic countries in order to prepare the bank for the future. In Denmark the redundancies will be between 500 and 650 and they will take place from November 2011 when the negotiations with the unions in the different countries have ended. This was announced on 29 August 2011 by Nordea Danmark. Nordea has 34,000 employees in total.
