European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Best, an Italian designer and manufacturer of kitchen range hoods, is to cut 95 (out of 360) jobs at its plant located at Cerreto d'Esi, in the province of Ancona. After some negotiations, at the end of March 2011 the company and the trade unions reached an agreement that provides the recourse to the extraordinary Wage Guarantee Fund for one year, and economic incentives for voluntary dismissals.
