Description
Westaqua Manufacturing has announced the creation of 100 jobs at a new plant producing water filters. The new jobs are for qualified workers. To this effect, the new hires will receive training at the head office of Aquaphor in St Petersburg.
The new plant is currently being built. The company will start recruiting new employees from the end of 2011, the plant is expected to be operational from the end of April 2012. In its first phase, the company will require around 100 new employees. The company plans to expand the business in a few years and increase the workforce up to 300.
The plant will create new jobs in the North-East Estonian region, which has high concentration of manufacturing companies. Due to the recent economic crsisis, the region has suffered from high unemployment.
