European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In July 2011, furniture producer Javor Pohištvo from Ilirska Bistrica has declared bankruptcy. The company's financial troubles started with the recession which is to blame for the fall in orders. All 200 employees were laid off on 4 August 2011.
UPDATE:
The latest information from 17 Septmeber 2011 says that the final number of laid off employees has been 190.
