Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 1 August 2011, Budapest district police department BRFK announced that 315 junior officers will fill positions in public security services across the country. They will work in regional police departments, especially in Northern regions (i.e. Miskolc, Ózd, Kazincbarcika, Mezőkövesd, Sátoraljaújhely, Edelény, Encs, Szerencs és Sárospatak).
Earlier on, in March 2011, 1,800 new officers were taken on to work in public security services. In accordance with the training programme, supervised by the Ministry of Interior, a total of 4,200 new junior officers will find employment in police departments by 2013.
