Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Since April 2011, a new company Souche Papers has assumed the activities of the former "Papeterie de la Souche" which was liquidated as a result of a decision from the Commercial Court of Epinal in December 2010. As a result of the closure 168 workers lost their jobs. However 120 former employees rebuilt the operations and created a new company to take over the plant. These 120 employees are the main shareholders of the company.
