Engineering and consultancy company Tragsatec has presented a redundancy procedure resulting in 317 job cuts. The measure will mostly affect veterinary surgeons working on a project about animal diseases which can be transmitted to human beings. The measure is blamed on project budget cut for 2012 (6,000,000 €).
Tragsatec carries out engineering, consultancy and technical support activities in agriculture, forests and rural, environmental and marine development.
