Car maker Nissan is to hire 200 new staff at its Sunderland factory. Kevin Fitzpatrick, vice-president for UK manufacturing, said production levels are at record levels. Nissan is looking for maintenance and engineering staff to work at its battery operations. The car maker also requires additional staff for new models, the Qushqai crossover and electric Leaf.
